Great Show : This is a great show however, this box set isn't value for money. You'd be much better off purchasing Seasons 1-5 separately (save you about £25)

this dvd box set is the best ive ever got from amazon price is great dvd is great and just think of it over 1000 hours of family guy now u cant beet that i got it 1 week ago and just finished watching it and want to watch it again.

2 things i will add is
1.its better than simpsons 110%
2.will make you have none stop fun and is just so great nothing can tell you how good it is coz its of the scale.

BUT 1 THING I DONT LIKE IS THAT AMAZON HAS MADE IT 2X THE AMOUNT I PAID ONLY 3 WEEKS AGO. I PAID ONLY £43 + POST.

adult crass humour, just what you want : You've got to watch Family Guy!!!!!!!

If you like The Simpsons but are ready for the next step, you'll love Family Guy. Plenty of the storylines are cribbed straight from The Simpsons, but you'll forgive them that because they make them their own, primarily through the unbridled use of adult humour and ability to indulge in all the taboo subjects (you name them, incest, paedophilia, bondage, drug addiction, masturbation, murder, attempted murder (including an ex-Beatle, etc).

Family Guy also has re-invented the use of the flash-back, which I must admit is pretty much the whole basis of its humour.

If you are a guy, and are crass, then you'll lap this up. Without a doubt.

lolol : Family Guy is a TV show that usually garners a love it or hate it response. It's crass, to be sure, but that's part of its beauty. The jokes fly by faster than many viewers can keep up with, and its reliance on extremely random events and flashbacks leave many scratching their head and wondering what the big deal is. I really enjoy it watching.. its funny not for all the people tho... ;] worth buying !!!
